Goals
I (and I hope we) have a number of goals for this term

I want you all to learn and understand the course material.

The topics in this course are the basis for many things you
will likely encounter in the future.

I want you all to pass the course.

I want this to be relatively painless, and at least somewhat interesting.
My Part

I will do my best to present the course information in a comprehensible
way, provide additional information when it's likely to be useful,
and answer any questions you may have.

I will try to help you if you run into problems in this course.
Your Part
-
Do your best to keep up with the course material, and to do the assignments
on time.

The course material is likely new to almost all of you,
but if you have some technical orientation, you should
be able to do well.

You're expected to participate in this course (and all your courses)
in accordance with Seneca's expectations for
Academic Integrity.

If You Run Into Problems

If you run into problems, seek help, from me, from the Supported
Learning Groups (SLGs), or from academic advisors.

We are all human, and we may run into human problems - school,
work, illness, depression or anxiety, family, and so on.

Seneca has ways for accomodations to be made for students
having difficulties.

Everyone at Seneca wants to help you succeed in your studies.
