There are 11 quizzes, your best 10 will count for 15% of your final mark -- 1.5% each.
Quizzes are multiple choice or short answer, and should take most people about 10 minutes to complete. Each quiz is focused on the topics of one week's classes. You will complete the quizzes online in blackboard on your own schedule.
I recommend that you review the week's class material and topics before attempting the related quiz.
Each quiz has a due date, and a time limit -- typically 30 minutes. You are allowed 1 attempt per quiz.
